What Is SMMRT™?

SELECTIVE MICROBIAL METABOLISM REGULATION TECHNOLOGY 

Not ALL bacteria are bad! SMMRT™ was developed in 2008 and uses nutrients that stop harmful bacteria from consuming sugars and carbohydrates and switch them to eating proteins and amino acids (similar to a Keto diet). This unique approach focuses on using nutrients to influence who lives in the oral microbiome and shifts microbes from bad behaviors to beneficial behaviors (and by-products) that ultimately create an improved oral environment that decreases inflammation, acid production, and smelly by-products, which results in an improved quality of life for your pet.

What exactly is TEEF!?

TEEF! is a powdered water additive designed to improve the oral health of your dog. It contains Protektin42™, a non-toxic, prebiotic formula backed by 10 years of science. TEEF for Life fights the bacterial imbalance in your pet's mouth. Our patented formulas decrease inflammation and bad breath and improve your pet's quality of life. 

The formula name Protektin™ reflects our mission to be proactive in protecting all teeth in a dog’s (42) and cat's (30) mouth throughout their lifetime. This prebiotic formula consists mainly of specialised soluble fibre, which serves as a food source for microbes.
