Four Leaf Rover Values
Promote Natural Products That Work
Why We Care
We believe hidden ingredients and fillers have no business in pet foods and pet products. And we think it’s only fair we tell you (the dog owner) exactly what is in every jar, because not only is it the decent thing to do, but because we’re dog owners too.
The truth is, most pet and human products contain glyphosate, pesticides, heavy metals, added starch and artificial ingredients ... even products that call themselves natural.
We say no to all that, and yes to real ingredients. We want to know that our own dogs are getting real foods that help him thrive, and we want that for your dog too.
What We're Doing
To start, we work with holistic vets we know, love and trust to help formulate high-quality and hand-picked ingredients. Our products come with a Certificate of Analysis to prove they're tested for harmful substances, so you can be sure you’re getting a superior product. You can feel good knowing we continuously research and source quality ingredients from all over the world. Our bar is set high, and we won’t cheap out on low-grade ingredients.
We are constantly getting feedback from dog owners like you, so if we have to go back to the drawing board, we’re committed to do so. We’re always listening and always improving because we don’t want to let you down.
Be A Steward For The Planet
Why We Care
We care about dogs and we care about the planet. And we make sure this is reflected in all of our products. A lot of products are manufactured with synthetic materials and ingredients which only contributes to climate change and environmental degradation. And knowing that 91% of plastics that end up in the environment are non-recyclable is enough for us to find better ways to package our products.
The first step in solve this problem is to NOT be a part of it.
What our products are packaged in is just as environmentally impactful as the ingredients they are made of. While glass is an environmentally friendly choice, it's heavy to ship and demands a lot of fossil fuels. And metals require a lot of energy to manufacture and can leach harmful chemicals into the ground.
What We're Doing
We chose 100% recycled plastic containers for Four Leaf Rover products. It requires much less energy and water to manufacture than other plastic types. The PET plastic we use is BPA free and is globally recognized and tested as a safe, easily recycled packaging material.
A recent Life Cycle Analysis done by the Allied Development Corporation studied the environmental footprint and greenhouse gas emissions of PET. Compared to aluminum cans and glass jars, PET plastic was found to be the best alternative. When it came to greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption PET containers had the best performance. Lightweight PET containers need fewer raw materials to produce, less fuel for transport and are still completely recyclable into carpets, T-shirts, shoes, luggage, automotive parts and more. Best part? There is no new plastic being created.
Our ingredients are also very carefully chosen. While they must benefit your dog, they must also be sustainably grown, kind to animals and plants, come without harmful pesticides and chemicals that can hurt our planet. It’s just the right thing to do.
Four Leaf Rover & rePurpose Global Partnership
Four Leaf Rover is now certified Plastic Negative by rePurpose Global. For every product we sell, we are contributing a percentage towards vetted impact programs that will remove 2x plastic waste from the environment as we create in our packaging and operations.
“We’re thrilled to see Four Leaf Rover rally around sustainable action. Their pledge to sustainability, through Plastic Negativity, is one we’re sure will inspire other businesses as well.” - Svanika Balasubramanian, Co-Founder and CEO rePurpose Global

Never Be Half Assed
Why We Care
Finding good ingredients, from good companies that look after the well-being of pets and the planet is not easy. You might be able to find a product that uses natural ingredients, but they still spray pesticides and chemicals on the products before and after the manufacturing process. Or you’ll find a soulful company with a good message that falls short in their “natural” delivery.
It can be complicated sifting through the piles of information on Google.
We just want to make products simple for you to find and easy for you to trust.
What We're Doing
You can trust that our products are never sprayed with chemicals, always third party tested AND formulated by professionals. Dr Patricia Jordan is a holistic veterinarian who has helped build, source and formulate many of the Four Leaf products. Like us, Dr Jordan isn't afraid of controversy and she tells it like it is! She's also one of the most learned veterinarians we know and is constantly redefining herself by studying all facets of natural medicine and healing.
Dr Jordan has spent many years working with us, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on our team.
We NEVER Compromise
Why We Care
What you put into your dog can have a profound impact on his health. We know this. And we know the lengths you go to ensure your dog (your family member) is taken care of properly. You would never put your dog in harms way (neither would we, we get you!)
We know how it feels to be misled by large corporations that pack all sorts of garbage into their products. And we know how it feels once you figure out that some of those harmful ingredients and fillers can make our dogs sick.
Our founder Dana, and the rest of our team, have committed to never knowingly be the ones to harm your dog with harmful ingredients.
What We're Doing
Our commitment is to develop products with human-grade ingredients first. We’ve taken the best performing human health products and formulated them specifically for dogs. This means we go above and beyond by working with good suppliers and manufacturers who care about quality ingredients.
