The Pet Intolerance Test is More than an Allergy test for Dogs and Cats. It is a road map to your cat or dog's wellness. "What may be healthy for one dog may be unhealthy for another dog."
The Pet Intolerance Test is NOT a traditional allergy test kit for dogs and cats performed in a medical laboratory. Our Pet Intolerance Test is a non-invasive Energetic Analysis using Biofeedback Technology, which has the ability to read and detect stress and energetic resonance that emanates from hair and saliva samples. It is so much more than an allergy test for pets as it can identify imbalances and disturbances within the entire body. Biofeedback energy status analysis measures the body’s reaction through the body's bioenergetic balance or homeostasis in relation to various food and environmental factors that an animal has been exposed to. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) would call this a balance of yin or yang, with the ultimate goal of removing or reducing incompatible energetic disturbances that diminish the body’s Qi or life force.
These samples are used to measure food and environmental factors that an animal has been exposed to. The ultimate goal is to show you what removing or reducing incompatible items can do to help the pet's allergy-type symptoms. It is so much more than a dog and cat allergy test kit, using biofeedback analysis, the device can identify energetic imbalances and factors contributing to the allergy symptoms based on over 300 food and environmental factors.
The Pet Intolerance Test is not meant to be a substitute for traditional dog allergy testing methods that use blood samples such as the ELISA and antibody testing. It is recommended that you consult with your veterinarian if you wish such traditional allergy testing be done for your pet.

Changing your pet's food or avoiding specific environmental items is an excellent place to start, however, there may be additional support we can provide. Consultation is optional and it is not included in the cost of the kit, with that we will review the results with you personally, answer your questions, and concerns and help design a strategy to bring your pet back into balance.
Our kit already include expedited result fees of USD $20. Unfortuntely, we are not able to deduct the USD $20 for standard result lead time, this is because of the way we work with Glacier Peak Holistics and we believe including expedited results will benefit your animals in having lesser lead time of their intolerance.
We also urge you to read the Product FAQ section/tab very throughly and carefully before taking this test.
Note : Officially, there isn't any implications or effect on the results if your animal is on any medication currently or before. However based on our own experience and some findings, we do encounter results that are not so ideal for animals who is on any immune suppression drugs (eg, Apoquel, Prednisone or other Steroids, Cytopoint, Antihistamines, Antibiotics or any other allergy medicine), as these medications can suppress bowel’s surface immune reactions to be detected in the saliva. In the case of the need of medication recently or currently, we do suggest a 2 weeks window period to be away from all kinds of medication before taking the test for the results to be more ideal. However, if the itching is too overwhelmed, you may lessen the suggested window period to your comfortable period.

How to collect your pet's saliva and hair?
Step 1 :
- Carefully remove the swabs from the biohazard bag, try not to touch the ends of the swabs. If cant, remove the swabs just by only touching one end of the swabs.
Step 2 :
- Hold one end or the middle of the swab and thoroughly rub along the gum line and cheek area.
- Repeat for all both sides or single side of the three (3) swabs or complete using all three (3) swabs at one time.
- If you could swab both ends of the swabs without accidently touching it, that will be great to do both ends, however if you cant, it is ok to do just one end of the swab.
- Please DO NOT touch the saliva on the swabs or the results will not be an ideal one.
- Carefully put them back in the biohazard bag without touching the end of the swabs. If you are doing just one end of the swabs, please put them back with the wet end at the bottom.
- Please DO NOT substitute your own swabs. Those provided are organic cotton, and our testing facility can only test with the provided cotton buds.
Step 3 :
- Use a clean, unused brush or comb (it's important that the hair not be contaminated by any other pet or human).
- Gently collect a small amount of shedding hair (size of a quarter will do, or roughly about a SGD 50 cent coin).
- If your pet does not shed or has very short hair, you can clip a small amount of hair from the rump or chest area.
- For hairless pets, make sure to get the swabs very wet with the saliva from your pet's mouth. We can still run the test this way.
- Put the hair in the biohazard bag with the swabs and close it using the zip closure on the end.
- Place the biohazard bag into the Grey mailing bag.

Product FAQ
Q : How is this test different from blood, skin patch or even feces testing?
A : Please remember that testing for food sensitivities and intolerances with saliva antibodies (IgA and IgM) is NOT the same as allergy testing. Allergies are more acute hypersensitivities caused from the release of different types of antibodies which is IgE and IgG. Thus serum (blood test) or feces is NOT a reliable diagnostic fluid for testing food sensitivities.
Skin Patch testing and food elimination trials can also be performed. Patch testing is expensive, unsightly and undesirable when one side of your pet’s body has to shaved and tested. Food elimination trials need to last 4-6 weeks with each restricted antigen food source. This type of testing is costly, time consuming and shows poor compliance.
Q : Why is salivary food sensitivity and intolerance testing more predictive than other food allergy testing?
A : IgA, especially, but also IgM, on the bowel’s mucosal surfaceare the important antibodies generated by immunological reactions and are expressed as secretory immunity in saliva, as well as other body fluids like tears, sweat, and breast milk. These antibodies are produced by the body in order to fight food sensitivities, so they offer the perfect measure of a reaction taking place. And, sometimes these antibodies can show up in the saliva without even appearing in the blood.
And In fact, a food intorerance can lead to one of these antibodies showing up in the saliva as early as five months, revealing the latent or pre-clinical form of food sensitivity, before a clinical or bowel biopsy diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease or “leaky gut syndrome” is made. Clinical signs includes itching and scratching and/or gastrointestinal (GI) tract issues (such as excessive gas, bloating, diarrhea, soft stools, and gastric upset). Therefore, please also note that this testing also applies to healthy pets as well as those with known or suspected food reactivity.

Q : At what age could i start doing this test for my animal?
A : We recommend at least 6 months of age.

Q : Do you recommend re-testing, and how often should it be done?
A : As sensitivities tends to change over time, depending what work you have put into healing the body, as well as depending on what and how many medications you have used into managing your animal's body, we highly recommend to do this on a yearly basis. However if there isn't any much issues on-going you could do it every 2yrs instead just to monitor any food sensitivity changes.
Q : My dog has short hair or does not shed, can I trim/cut some hair for the hair sample?
A : Yes, trimming the dogs hair for the hair sample is okay, but you could also tweeze a few to get the follicle. Please make sure that there is enough hair, about a SGD 50 cent coin.
Q : What is the best way to get the saliva samples?
A : We provide you with three organic cotton swabs in the test kit. The best way to get the saliva sample is to hold all three of the swabs on one end and swab the inside of the mouth along the gum line and cheek area with the opposite end. This will get all three swabs done at once - easier for you and your pet. It is also helpful to wait until just before a meal (dog/cat begins to salivate in anticipation) or just after they get a drink.
Q : How accurate is this Analysis?
A : As the analysis is done using the energetic imprint of your pet, the results could vary. The biofeedback technicians take great care in documenting the results according to the output. While there is not a way that we can put a number value to each highlighted item, rest assured that it reached a level to be considered a stressor which may cause allergy type symptoms. A : All our kit comes with expedited results, you will receive your results within 3 working days from the time your samples are received in USA. Other International Orders (Non-frozen items via various couriers)
- Non-frozen items to Worldwide will be delivered via various couriers within 15 working days.
- To know the exact delivery duration, kindly email us your address with postal code and we will get back to you soonest possible.

- Please note that our delivery vendor will attempt to reach you at the contact number that you've submitted. If no one is present or uncontactable for further instructions, your package will be left at the riser, door, gate, or security. If other arrangements are preferred, please leave us a remark or contact us before your package is dispatched.
Return Policy
Generally, all our products are strictly non-refundable nor exchangeable.
However, in the event you received an incorrect or defective item, or any other valid reason that you can't enjoy your purchase, we will provide a refund or an exchange, case by case basis.
All we ask is that when the item is returned, it should meet the following requirements:
- Reach out to us to arrange an appointment to drop off your item at 80 Changi Road, Centropod@Changi #02-48, Singapore 419715.
- Item returned should be in their original & sealed packaging. Broken seals will not be accepted, unless there's a valid reason, based on case by case basis.
- Please ensure at least 6 months of shelf life if it's a perishable item.
- Send us your order confirmation email for refund verification.
Items not eligible for returns:
- Food related, wearables, beds and carriers due to food safety & hygiene reasons.
- Items that are purchased from promotional pricing from all of our sales channels.
- Customers who had a history of returning more than 3 items.
When we receive the refunded/exchange item, we will review the condition of the item, and reach out to you to confirm and issue a refund/exchange within 7 working days. We regret that customers who decline to respect our policy will be ineligible for exchange, returns and refunds.
Do also note that if we find that a product has been intentionally damaged or tampered with, refunds will not be offered.
