How long does the Adaptil diffuser take to work? +
The plug-in diffuser begins releasing pheromones within 1 to 2 hours, with noticeable behavioural improvements usually visible within 7 days of continuous use. For known events like fireworks, plug it in a few days beforehand.
Can humans or cats smell Adaptil? +
No. Adaptil is odourless to humans, and cats and other pets cannot detect it. It only affects dogs, so it is safe to use in homes with other animals.
How long does a refill last and where should I plug it in? +
Each 48ml refill lasts up to 30 days when plugged in continuously, covering an area of up to 70m² (750 sq ft). Plug the diffuser into an open wall outlet in the room where your dog spends the most time, avoiding placement behind curtains, doors or under shelves.
