About Green Juju
The Green Juju Story
When Kelley Marian’s joyful yellow lab, Bailey, was diagnosed with a rare joint tumor, the prognosis was grim and options were limited. With Bailey’s immune system already struggling, and recovery from even a simple biopsy already having taken a toll, major surgery didn’t feel like the right, or safe, move.
But Kelley, who had been managing her own health challenges through whole foods and juicing, saw another way.
She began Bailey on a raw food diet, adding in fresh greens and supporting her with Chinese herbs and acupuncture. And slowly, something amazing happened: Bailey got stronger, her energy came back, and her sparkle returned.
With guidance from a canine nutritionist and input from both holistic and conventional vets, Kelley developed a blend that made it easier for other pet parents to offer the same fresh-food boost at home. That first blend, Just Greens, marked the beginning of what would become Green Juju.
Between this healthy diet, exercise, and loads of love, they kept her cancer at bay for over a year. Eventually, Bailey was healthy enough to undergo the surgery and, with a resilient immune system on her side, she recovered beautifully.
Word of Bailey’s journey spread quickly. People wanted to know what was in the bowl and Kelley was happy to share it all from the research to the recipes. When you’ve seen firsthand how food can help transform a life, you can’t keep it to yourself.
Today, Green Juju has grown into a full line of thoughtfully crafted products including hydrating bone broths, freeze-dried whole food bites, fermented pastes, pure raw goat’s milk, complete & balanced frozen and freeze-dried raw diets, and more.
Everything we make is rooted in the same beliefs that started it all: Fresh food is powerful. Simple can be healing.
And your pet deserves to feel amazing.

Ingredient Sourcing
Your pet deserves real food from real farms and trusted suppliers.
No shortcuts. No mysteries. Just fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients you can feel good about.
Proteins.
We only partner with farms and suppliers who prioritize animal welfare, sustainability, and nutrient-rich diets. Why? Because happier, healthier animals lead to more nourishing food—for your pet and the planet.
Our proteins are always:
- Free from hormones, antibiotics, and fillers
- Grass fed, for optimal nutrient density and healthy omega profiles
- Pasture raised, ensuring animal welfare and regenerative land practices
- Wild caught or harvested, supporting natural diets and sustainable ecosystems
- Sourced with care from regions that prioritize sustainability and animal welfare
Bison & Beef : 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. Our bison come from Wyoming and Colorado, and our beef is raised on lush pastures in the Pacific Northwest. These animals live outside, eat what nature intended, and their meat reflects it—with higher nutrient levels and ideal omega fatty acid ratios.
Pork : Pastured and free-ranging in Oregon. These pigs spend their lives outdoors, which boosts their vitamin D levels—something many commercial pork products lack. It’s rare to find pastured pork, but we wouldn’t settle for less.
Rabbit & Duck : Free-range and non-GMO. Our rabbit comes from Spain, where it’s raised to high welfare standards, and our ducks roam freely in California. Together, they offer clean proteins with naturally cooling energetics—ideal for pets that run a little hot.
Lamb & Goat : Grass-fed lamb and wild-harvested goat from Australia. Our lamb is pasture-raised with a 1:3 omega-3 to omega-6 ratio—a sign of serious quality. And our goats? They live wild, part of an ethical culling program that benefits the environment. Wild harvesting means peak nutrition and a naturally higher profile of vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats like EPA and DHA
Fruits, Veggies & Superfoods.

We keep things as close to home as possible, sourcing organic produce from trusted farms in Oregon, California, Pennsylvania, and from Mexico in the off-season. If we can’t find it at home, we dig deep, sourcing only ingredients that align with our values, ethics, and standards of nutrition.

Kelp – Responsibly wild-harvested from Iceland’s pristine waters, with sustainable management practices that protect marine ecosystems and preserve the purity of this nutrient-rich sea vegetable.
Mushrooms – From the first certified organic mushroom farm in the U.S., operating for over 100 years with an incredible compost loop that feeds local Pennsylvania farms.
Beets & Purple Cabbage – From small, Central PA farms enriched by our mushroom compost— a beautiful example of circular farming and nutrient-rich soil in action.
Raw Goat’s Milk – Our raw goat’s milk comes from a cooperative of 15 small family farms in Pennsylvania, where goats roam open pastures, bask in the sunshine, and live as nature intended. One of the most nutrient-dense, probiotic-rich, and bioavailable foods on the planet. With enzymes, minerals, and naturally occurring probiotics, this milk supports digestion, immunity, and whole-body vitality.

Frozen & Freeze-Dried Raw Diet FAQ
What makes Green Juju’s food unique?
Three things:
We use primarily organ meat. Instead of traditional muscle meat, we use heart, which is incredibly nutrient-dense. It supports your pet’s heart, liver, and kidney health by delivering the exact nutrients those organs need.
No synthetic vitamins or minerals. We meet nutritional needs using real, nutrient-rich ingredients—just a touch of leafy greens and kelp to round out Vitamin K1 and iodine.
No fish oil.Fish oil can trigger sensitivities in some pets. Thanks to our sourcing—grass-fed, pasture-raised, and wild-caught proteins—our food naturally has a healthy omega 3:6 ratio.
Where is the “meat” in your food?
I’ve heard too much organ meat can upset my dog’s stomach. Is that true?
We understand the concern, but there’s no scientific proof that higher organ meat causes digestive problems. After an AAFCO feeding trial and over two years on the market, we’re happy to report that our food has proven excellent digestibility and functionality results!
Do I need to add fish oil to your food? Can I if I want to?
How much food does my dog need?
That depends on your dog’s size, age, and activity level. Use our feeding calculators as a starting point for frozen and freeze-dried diets as a starting point, and adjust as needed.
Can I lightly cook the frozen food?
We recommend serving it raw. Our recipes are formulated to be complete and balanced in their raw state, and cooking can deplete sensitive nutrients. For best results, serve it as nature intended.
Is Green Juju’s food complete and balanced for puppies?
Is it safe for pregnant dogs?
Yes. We recommend feeding up to double the normal amount during pregnancy to support mama and pups.
Is this food appropriate for the growth of large breed puppies?
How many cups are in a bag of freeze-dried food?
Approximately 8.3 cups per bag.
I have a large breed dog. Can I feed them freeze-dried?
You can, but for large breeds, our frozen food is a more cost-effective option. Freeze-dried is great for convenience, but may be less budget-friendly for big eaters.
What is the ash content in your freeze-dried and frozen food?
Freeze-Dried:
- Bison: 8.82%
- Beef: 8.80%
- Pork: 8.52%

Do you add copper to your food?
Is your food high in copper? Should I be concerned?
Our food contains naturally occurring copper, which is better utilized by the body than synthetic forms. According to holistic vet Dr. Katie Woodley:
“There has never been a scientific correlation between naturally occurring copper and negative outcomes. For most pets, it’s safe, essential, and well-processed by the body.”

How long does frozen food stay fresh after opening?
What about the 5% organ rule? Doesn’t Green Juju use more than that?
That rule is typically based on concerns about vitamin A or D toxicity. But when vitamins A, D, and K2 occur naturally, they help metabolize, balance, and support each other, preventing toxicity. Our short ingredient list reflects how nutrient-dense organs like heart, liver, and kidney truly are.
What kind of Vitamin E preservative do you use? Is it synthetic?
We use mixed tocopherols derived from food—non-GMO and naturally sourced. It’s gentle and well-tolerated, even by sensitive pets.
Why are there ice crystals on the food? Is it freezer-burned?
Whole Food Supplements FAQ
Can I refreeze a supplement I’m not using right away?
Yes! Portion into smaller containers or use an ice cube tray for easy refreezing.
The feeding recs for frozen blends seem high—do I have to use that much?
Should I stick with the same frozen blend or rotate?
Rotation is ideal! Each blend contains different plant ingredients. Rotate all four and you’ll be feeding them 24 different plants in a month—great for microbiome diversity!
If you are dealing with cancer or yeast and need a low-carb diet, Bailey’s Blend, Just Greens, Vitality Blend are below 3% net carb. The Golden Blend is less than 6% net carb.
The last consideration is the protein. Just Greens has bison bone broth, Bailey’s Blend has turkey bone broth, Vitality Blend has venison bone broth, and Golden Blend has duck bone broth.
We also have the Just Greens Freeze Dried which does not have a bone broth at all to support pets with protein sensitivities.
How long do supplements last in the fridge?

HELP! My dog ate the oxygen pack! Is it toxic?
Not to worry! It’s non-toxic – we use OxyFree brand. Just monitor your dogs water intake, and if needed, contact your vet or the ASPCA for more information.
Why does the product look different than last time?
Variations in color and texture are totally normal! We use real, whole food in small batches—and that means beautiful, natural variation.
Does your Raw Goat’s Milk contain probiotics?
Mushroom broth vs. mushroom probiotic—what’s the difference?
Mushroom broth is cooked at high temperatures and/or pressure to release nutrients into the broth.
Mushroom probiotic is raw and fermented, keeping the full spectrum of nutrients, enzymes, and probiotics intact. We soak mushrooms in water and sea salt, causing naturally existing probiotics and yeast to grow and eat the mushroom's carbohydrate content, releasing the mushroom nutrients as the bacteria metabolize them. This process allows us to keep everything in a raw food state, enhancing all the bacteria and nutrient properties.
